The Flu Goes on…

My son was diagnosed with Influenza Type A this past Tuesday. Today should be his last day of full contagious confinement. This is wonderful for many reasons! One, we don’t have much food in the house simply because we were supposed to stay at my Mother-In-Law’s for the past 4 days. I had planned it all perfectly so that our fresh food would run out on Christmas, and it did! So good job to me, except… Luckily, we had some non perishables in the pantry. I hadn’t stopped CDubs from wanting biscuits, I still can’t drive, but unfortunately Ry is sick too. I believe he (Ry) has one more day of confinement.

Both are looking much better and I am doing my best to keep up with their needs and housework. This is not how I imagined spending this week, but it is what it is!

He’s enjoying himself an apple this morning while Ry stays in bed a little longer.
