Overwhelmed? Focus on the steps

Hit the nail on the head. This is what I am trying to do. Just take one step at a time, remembering even if I didn’t make the mess, I have control over how I respond and handle the new responsibilities. Wonderful words!

steps-fall-leavesHave you been feeling a bit overwhelmed by all you have in front of you?  My suggestion is to remember that you do have the choice on how to respond. Yes, even when others have made your plans a mess.

While having huge goals can be exciting and exhilarating, it can also be exhausting. You may be able to visualize yourself once you’ve achieved your success, but you also likely find it challenging to envision the steps in between or even the first one to take. Often this is what stops you from seeing your dream come to pass – that is, until now.

Focus on the healthiest, simplest, and most positive step. Then do it.  Then repeat for the next step.  Slow and steady will get you to your goal.  You can pick up the pace as you feel more in control.
